Tinnitus Treatment

In 1995, under the leadership of ENT’s Chief Lai, Jen-Tsung, Kuang Tien established the first Tinnitus Treatment Center and Tinnitus Special Cline in Asia. Currently, it is the only Tinnitus Special Clinic in Taiwan that combines ENT, hearing and speech testing and treatment, Psychiatry, and psychological counseling. Dedicated to tinnitus care and specialist training, Kuang Tien founded the Taiwan Tinnitus Association and hosted the first Asia Pacific National Tinnitus Forum and Tinnitus Therapist Training Course. After more than two decades of the team’s dedication to tinnitus care Kuang Tien founded Taiwan’s first Tinnitus patient support group and has treated more than 4,000 patients not only from all over Taiwan but also international patients from England, Denmark, Holland, and Singapore.

Image-guided Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is no longer restricted to the treatment of Sinusitis or Nasal Polyps. Kuang Tien has introduced the most advanced techniques and concepts. Not only are we among the first in Taiwan to implement image-guided systems in picture, our research has been published in one of America’s most prestigious medical journal:”Intravenous Esmolol Infusion Improves Surgical Fields During Endoscopic Sinus Surgery”, American Journal of Rhinology & Allergy. In 2011, we also received the 『Symbol of National Quality (SNQ)』  award for the ENT Department’s refined Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. So far, we have completed over 100 surgeries, the most cases of image-guided sinus surgeries in the country.
