Visa

Visa:
ROC visas are divided into four categories determined by the applicant’s travel purpose and status:
1.Vistor visa: a short-term visa valid for a stay in Taiwan for less than 180 days
2.Resident visa: a long-term visa for a stay in Taiwan for more than 180 days
3.Diplomatic visa
4.Courtesy visa

Relevant information:
1.Final entry date(the VALID UNTIL or ENTER BEFORE column): It refers to the expiration date of a visa. For example, when you see the “Valid until (or Enter before) April 8, 1999” date stamp on your visa, it means the visa will become invalid after that date and shall no longer be used.
2. Duration of stay: It refers to the length of stay for the visa holder in Taiwan, starting from the day after the date of arrival.
3. Duration of stay is divided into 14-day, 30-day, 60-day and 90-day types. Holders of visas with 60-day duration of stay and no restrictions on their further stay, if in need of extending the period of stay in Taiwan, you must bring all relevant papers and make the application to the branch offices of the National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior, across the country.
