達文西機器手臂手術系統讓外科醫師能進行更為複雜、高精準度和高靈活度的手術，突破傳統手術所遇到的困難，透過電腦微調系統讓外科醫師來進行更細微的動作控制並且可以消除不必要的手部顫抖；另外3D放大的視野及仿真手腕的手術器械，將醫師的每個動作透過精細的機械手腕來進行操作，可以執行精準的切除、修復和縫合；並且可保留重要的神經、血管、和器官，將手術的風險降低。達文西手術不只少了傳統開放式手術或是腹腔鏡手術的疼痛感和不適感，回復期也大大縮短，提升術後的回復和照護品質，讓病人在術後快速回復到正常生活。

The da Vinci Surgical Systems enables surgeons to perform more complex, highly precise, and flexible surgeries, surpassing challenges encountered in traditional procedures. Through computer-assisted micro-adjustments, surgeons can execute finer movements while eliminating unnecessary hand tremors. Additionally, the 3D magnified field of view and the surgical instruments with simulated wrists allow surgeons to operate with meticulous mechanical control, achieving precise excisions, repairs, and sutures. This approach preserves critical nerves, blood vessels, and organs, thereby reducing surgical risks. Patients who undergo da Vinci surgery report high levels of satisfaction due to reduced pain and discomfort compared to traditional open or laparoscopic surgeries, along with shortened recovery periods. This enhances post-operative recovery and care quality, enabling patients to quickly return to their normal lives.

Tungs' Hospital introduced robotic arms in 2013, upgraded to the fourth generation in 2017, and acquired a new model in 2021, integrating advanced technology and adaptable robotic arms to achieve unprecedented innovation and breakthroughs in surgical procedures. Complemented by the first intelligent linked bed with the da Vinci robotic system in Taiwan, patient repositioning during surgery becomes more convenient, complex surgery durations are reduced, and anesthesia times are minimized, thereby lowering the risk of postoperative complications.

泌尿腫瘤中心

Urologic Oncology Center

泌尿系統中常見的癌症為攝護腺癌、膀胱癌及腎臟癌，發生於男性的比率偏高。其中以攝護腺癌、膀胱癌列為男性前十大癌症。腎臟癌的特性與膀胱癌都屬於『沉默型』，出現症狀時大都已確診為癌症，且復發率高。童綜合醫院於2017年9月成立「泌尿腫瘤中心」，以醫療四大面向：預防、治療、追蹤、研發為方向，由研發創新中心 歐宴泉院長領軍，統計至2023年，達文西手術病人近4000例，泌尿癌症診治破萬例，為達文西手術全台第一，亞太地區排名第二，守護世界民眾泌尿系統之健康。

Common cancers in the urinary system include prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer, with a higher incidence in males. Among these, prostate cancer and bladder cancer are among the top ten cancers in males. Both kidney and bladder cancers are considered "silent" as symptoms often appear after diagnosis, and their recurrence rates are high. In September 2017, Tungs’ Hospital established the "Urologic Oncology Center" with a focus on four medical aspects: prevention, treatment, monitoring, and research. Led by President Yen-Chuan Ou of the Research and Innovation Center. As of 2023, the hospital has performed nearly 4,000 da Vinci surgeries and treated over 10,000 cases of urologic cancers. This achievement ranks it first in da Vinci surgeries nationwide and second in the Asia-Pacific region, safeguarding global urinary system health.

利用超音波熱效應，從體外將能量集中焦點在體內子宮肌瘤，進而子宮腫瘤凝固性消融，達到治療之目的，子宮組織及其他正常器官不受到損傷。

Utilizing ultrasound thermal effects, energy is focused from outside the body onto uterine fibroids, leading to coagulative necrosis of the fibroid tissue inside the uterus. This achieves the therapeutic goal while preserving the uterine tissue and other normal organs, without causing damage.
